Les Jardins de la Cité attaches particular importance to the protection of personal data and to respect for privacy, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (“GDPR”) and French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended (“Informatique et Libertés”). This policy describes the processing carried out from the website www.lesjardinsdelacite.fr.

1. Data controller

BBLEND (a simplified joint-stock company with share capital of €7,500, Paris Trade and Companies Register B 449 531 516), trading as Les Jardins de la Cité (88 avenue des Ternes, 75017 Paris), represented by Mr Patrick-M. Touitou. Contact for any question relating to personal data: dpd@lesjardinsdelacite.fr.

2. Data collected

The site has no user accounts and no advertising or analytics tracking. The only personal data processed are:

  • The data from the “Your project” form : name, organisation, email address, telephone number, project type, number of participants, planned period and the content of your message. Only the name and the email address are required: without them, we could not answer you. The form sends us this information by email; it is not stored in any database on the site;
  • The data you send us voluntarily when you contact us by email or by telephone: name, job title, organisation, contact details and the content of your message;
  • Technical connection data processed by our host for security purposes and for the proper functioning of the site (server logs: IP address, timestamp, pages viewed).

These data are collected directly from you. In the context of business-to-business prospecting, we may also use publicly available professional contact details (institutional websites, professional directories, tender notices). No automated decision-making or profiling is carried out on the basis of these data.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering your requests and communicating with you in the context of a commercial or pre-contractual relationship, legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures or legitimate interest;
  • Managing the client relationship and business prospecting (B2B), legal basis: legitimate interest;
  • Ensuring the security of the site, legal basis: the legitimate interest of the host and of the publisher;
  • Meeting our legal obligations, in particular accounting obligations, legal basis: legal obligation.

4. Retention periods

  • Prospect data: 3 years after your last contact;
  • Data relating to a contractual relationship: for the duration of the contract, plus the applicable statutory limitation periods;
  • Connection logs: for the period required by the regulations (12 months at most).

5. Data recipients

The data are intended exclusively for authorised staff at Les Jardins de la Cité. They are neither sold, nor rented, nor transferred to third parties. They may be processed, on behalf of the agency and within the limits of their assignment, by our technical providers, the host of the website and of the email service, OVH SAS (2 rue Kellermann, 59100 Roubaix, France), whose servers used for this purpose are located in the European Union, bound by contractual obligations of confidentiality and of GDPR compliance (article 28). They may also be disclosed to the authorities where the law requires it.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

All the fonts used on the site are hosted on our own server and give rise to no transmission of data to third parties. No data are transferred outside the European Union.

7. Cookies and local storage

The site sets no advertising, analytics or social media cookies, and therefore displays no consent banner. It stores only your display preferences in your browser's local storage (light or dark mode, accessibility settings: text size, contrast, reduced motion). This information stays on your device, is never sent to our servers, does not allow you to be identified and is exempt from consent under the CNIL guidelines. You can erase it at any time from your browser settings or with the “Reset all” button in the accessibility panel.

Links to our social networks (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube) are simple outbound links: no third-party widget is loaded on our pages, and no data are sent to those platforms unless you click on those links.

7 bis. Embedded content

Everything shown on the site (text, images and fonts) is hosted directly on our own site. No video player, map, font or third-party widget is loaded from an external service, so browsing our pages causes no transfer of data to third-party platforms and sets no cookies.

8. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, object to and port your data, as well as the right to give instructions on what happens to it after your death. You may exercise these rights at any time by writing to dpd@lesjardinsdelacite.fr or by post to our registered office, enclosing anything that proves your identity. We reply within one month. In particular, you may object at any time, without giving reasons, to business prospecting: simply tell us so in reply to one of our messages.

If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr.

9. Security

Les Jardins de la Cité implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data processed, tested and assessed on a regular basis, in line with the commitments the agency also applies in its event services (GDPR-compliant management of invitations and check-in on behalf of its clients).

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated at any time to reflect changes to the site or to the applicable regulations. The version in force is the one published on this page.
