01 · The brief

What we had to get right.

Bring the national scientific community together for a day around endocrine disruptors: progress on exposure to these substances, their effects on human health, their mechanisms of action. The stake went beyond the symposium itself: strengthening cooperation within the scientific community, and getting researchers, stakeholders, environmental associations, professional organisations and public decision-makers to discuss the same body of work.

Overall project management, staging, technical and logistical production, print, event website and registrations, filming, press relations.

02 · The set-up

What we put in place.

Steering committee with Anses and ANR, editorial committee for the content
Three thematic sessions: effects on offspring, mechanisms of action at low doses and in mixtures, other effects
Design and production of the staging in the auditorium
Dedicated event website and registration management, with three separate forms: laureates, laboratories, participants
Full print production: participant pack, posters, roll-ups, invitations, badges and signage
Coordination of the technical suppliers and of an eco-responsible caterer
Filming of the day, interviews and video treatment
Press relations and speaker preparation

The result

Six hundred and ninety-six registrations in a month, four hundred and two participants checked in on the day: a 100 % turnout. The event website drew one thousand four hundred and twenty visits, and the post-event survey returned 98.4 % satisfaction. The three sessions made it possible to measure how the projects funded by Anses' national environment-health-work research programme and those of the ANR complement one another.
